Attorney - Litigation

Trustpoint.One is pleased to be supporting a leading AmLaw firm in seeking several California-licensed attorneys to assist on a 2+ month (remote!) project involving class action litigation under the California Lemon Law. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled litigator to work closely with partners on high-volume, high-impact consumer claims.

About the Role

The attorney will play a key role in organizing and evaluating multiple class action claims and complaints. Primary responsibilities include:

· Keeping partners organized and on track with all active class action complaints and filings.

· Reviewing reports from dealerships and other sources to prepare detailed case timelines.

· Using these timelines to analyze liability and recommend whether to settle or contest claims.

· Conducting case analyses and drafting written summaries for partner review (GT attorney).

· If settlement is approved and the vehicle is being repurchased, completing standard settlement forms.

· If the case will be contested, preparing standard complaints, updating names, pronouns, and vehicle-specific details.

· Applying established settlement triggers—such as the number of days the vehicle has been in the shop or repeat repair issues—to evaluate exposure and recommend next steps.

Qualifications

· Active California Bar license (in good standing).

· 3–5 years of litigation experience, preferably with exposure to class action or consumer protection matters.

· Strong analytical, writing, and organizational skills.

· Excellent attention to detail in preparing timelines and case analyses.

· Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.

· Familiarity with California Lemon Laws and related regulatory frameworks strongly preferred.
