Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Attorney Recruiting Coordinator to join our team. In this vital role, you will drive the firm’s talent acquisition efforts by managing the full cycle of attorney recruitment, building strong relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders, and ensuring a seamless onboarding experience. Your proactive approach will help attract top legal talent and support the firm’s strategic growth initiatives.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Law Student & Summer Associate Recruiting

  • Coordinate on-campus interview (OCI) logistics, including law school registration, scheduling, and candidate communication.
  • Support callback interview scheduling and communications with attorneys and candidates.
  • Assist in planning and executing the Summer Associate Program, including onboarding, social events, trainings, evaluations, and end-of-program offer processes.
  • Maintain regular communication with summer associates, hiring partners, and law school career services offices.

Lateral Attorney Recruiting

  • Support the lateral attorney hiring process, including posting positions, tracking applicants, scheduling interviews, and collecting feedback.
  • Maintain recruiting documentation and applicant tracking system (e.g., viRecruit or similar).
  • Coordinate reference checks, background screenings, and onboarding logistics for lateral hires.

Event Planning & Coordination

  • Plan and coordinate recruiting-related events, such as law school receptions, in-office interview days, summer associate events, and firm-wide attorney recruiting events.
  • Manage event logistics including invitations, RSVPs, catering, space reservations, and budget tracking.

Systems, Data & Reporting

  • Maintain and update recruiting databases and candidate files with accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Generate reports, metrics, and summaries for internal stakeholders as requested.
  • Track recruiting expenses and process invoices in accordance with firm policies.

Candidate Experience & Internal Communication

  • Serve as a primary contact for candidates throughout the recruiting lifecycle, providing prompt and professional communication.
  • Liaise with attorneys, HR, and administrative teams to facilitate interviews, feedback, and onboarding processes.

Experience

Bachelor’s degree required. 2-4 years of legal recruiting, attorney recruiting, or law firm professional services experience preferred.

  • Familiarity with law school recruiting cycles and legal hiring practices a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (e.g., viRecruit) strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and discretion with confidential information.

Pay: Up to $70,000.00 per year
