Role Overview:
The Senior Attorney for Public Records coordinates, tracks, redacts, and responds to all Public Records requests received at DCS. You will also manage, track, and respond to inquiries regarding DCS Expungements. The ideal candidate will have at least 3-5 years of experience working in Child Services or a related field, be detail oriented, and have a firm understanding of caselaw and statutory authority surrounding DCS's confidentiality requirements. You will directly assist the Deputy General Counsel of Legal Operations with various agency projects and tasks, including trainings regarding American Privacy Rights Act processes, implementing new technology, and other tasks as assigned.
Salary:
The minimum salary for this position starts at $67,314.00 with 1-5 years, or $85,020.00 with 5+ years, of experience while admitted to a state bar but may be greater commensurate with education or work experience.
