Attorney/Lawyer

We are looking for a skilled Attorney to join our team on a contract basis in San Francisco, California. In this role, you will utilize your expertise in civil litigation to handle legal matters efficiently and independently. This position is ideal for a self-motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and requires minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:
• Handle litigation cases, including drafting motions, preparing briefs, and managing discovery processes.
• Provide legal counsel and guidance on employment-related matters.
• Conduct thorough research and analysis of legal issues relevant to the case.
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and case management.
• Maintain and organize employment records, if applicable, to support legal proceedings.
• Represent clients in court and other legal forums, ensuring their best interests are advocated.
• Work proactively to identify potential risks and develop strategies to address them.
• Stay updated on state and federal laws, particularly California and New York regulations.
• Manage legal documentation and ensure compliance with all necessary protocols.
• Must hold a valid license to practice law in the United States.
• Proven experience in civil litigation and related legal practices.
• Strong ability to draft motions, prepare briefs, and handle discovery processes.
• Knowledge of employment law and associated legal standards.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and without micromanagement.
• Familiarity with California or New York state laws is preferred.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Proficiency in managing legal records and documentation.
