Audio Engineer

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Audio Engineer to join Rush. In this role, you will be responsible for mixing, setting up live sporting events, and enhancing audio content across various multimedia projects. Your expertise will ensure high-quality sound production that elevates visual storytelling. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, collaborating with other audio technicians, creators, and production teams to deliver compelling sporting events.

Duties

• Track high-quality audio during filming sessions, live events, and studio recordings using professional equipment.
• Edit and mix audio tracks utilizing industry-standard software to achieve optimal sound clarity and balance.
• Collaborate with existing studio engineers and train to better understand the live audio workflow.
• Manage sound effects, background music, and voiceovers to enhance storytelling and viewer engagement.
• Conduct signal processing tasks such as noise reduction, equalization, compression, and mastering for polished final products.
• Assist in the setup and maintenance of audio equipment, ensuring all gear is functioning correctly before live events.
• Skills
• Basic understanding of microphone set up.
• Understanding of audio termanology.
