Role
The AV Sales will be responsible for identifying, developing and closing sales opportunities for AV and related ELV solutions. This role will focus on converting leads into projects, managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract, working closely with pre-sales, engineering and project teams to deliver tailored AV solutions that meet client needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and generate new business opportunities specifically in the AV / ELV domain: e.g., background music systems, PA systems, video conferencing, digital signage, LED displays, meeting-room , conference, board room AV solutions.
- Qualify leads and conduct needs analysis with customers (corporates, hospitality, entertainment, education, retail, government) to understand their AV/ELV requirements.
- Develop and deliver compelling solution proposals, quotations and presentations tailored to client requirements and Securetrack’s offerings.
- Manage the full sales cycle: initial contact, solution design coordination, negotiation, proposal submission, closure and hand-over to project execution team.
- Achieve or exceed assigned sales targets (volume, revenue, margin) for AV/ELV solutions.
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers; identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities (for example, integrating AV with IT/automation/surveillance or other security systems).
- Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, pre-sales, project management, procurement) to ensure accurate solution scoping, costing, timely delivery and client satisfaction.
- Keep abreast of market trends, competitor offerings, new technologies in AV/ELV, and provide feedback to the business development/management team.
- Prepare regular sales reports, pipeline updates, forecast and territory plans.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, client meetings to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
Skills & Qualifications
Essential:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Electronics, or related field.
- Proven sales experience (preferably 4-6 years) in AV, ELV, or IT infrastructure solutions (preferably in Middle East/GCC region).
- Strong understanding of AV/ELV technologies: e.g., digital signage, LED displays, video conferencing, PA systems, meeting-room AV, etc.
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
- Results-oriented, target-driven with strong closing skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple deals concurrently, and collaborate with internal stakeholders.
- Valid driving licence and willingness to travel within UAE / GCC as required.
- Excellent command of English; Arabic or other regional language is a plus.
Desirable:
- Experience selling into sectors such as hospitality, education, corporate boardrooms, government.
- Existing network / contacts in the UAE AV/ELV market.
- Knowledge of integration of AV with IT infrastructure, smart-building or automation systems.
