Position - AV Design & Estimation Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Lead complete AV system design aligned with project requirements and site conditions

• Prepare detailed BOQs, cost estimates, and technical proposals

• Design solutions for:

• Video conferencing (Teams, Zoom, Webex-ready systems)

• Meeting spaces (huddle rooms, boardrooms, training rooms, auditoriums)

• Digital signage and LED display systems

• Audio systems (BGM, paging, conferencing)

• Review tender documents and ensure technical compliance

• Select equipment and prepare technical submittals from leading AV manufacturers

• Coordinate with sales, engineering, and project teams for seamless delivery

• Conduct site surveys and provide optimized design recommendations

• Support execution teams with clarifications and value engineering

Mandatory Requirements

• 3–5 years of AV design & estimation experience in the Middle East

• CTS Certification

• Strong technical expertise in AV systems, conferencing platforms, LED walls, and digital signage

• Proven ability to prepare professional proposals, BOQs, and compliance documentation

• Familiarity with major AV brands (Crestron, Extron, QSC, Shure, Sennheiser, Bose, etc.)

Preferred Skills (Added Advantage)

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Visio, and Excel

• Knowledge of AV over IP technologies (Dante, NVX, AVLAN)

• Experience with structured cabling and signal flow documentation

• Ability to manage multiple bids and meet tight deadlines
