Position Summary: Aga Khan Health Service, Pakistan is looking for a competent Audiologist base at Aga Khan Diagnostic Centre, Jutial Gilgit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct hearing assessments including audiometry, tympanometry, and other diagnostic tests.
- Diagnose hearing loss and balance disorders.
- Recommend and fit hearing aids and assistive listening devices.
- Provide counseling and rehabilitation services to patients and families.
- Maintain accurate patient records and reports.
- Ensure infection control practices and equipment maintenance.
- Participate in community awareness programs and hearing screening camps.
- Collaborate with ENT specialists, physicians, and rehabilitation teams.
- Follow AKHSP policies, medical protocols, and ethical standards.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Audiology.
- 1 year relevant experience
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent communication and counseling skills.
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
- Patient-centered approach.
- Documentation and reporting skills.
- Basic computer literacy.
