Audit Manager – Internal Audit (Engineering & Operations)

Role Purpose

Plan, execute, and close audit engagements covering airline engineering, maintenance, and operational activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute audits covering engineering, maintenance, reliability, and operational processes.
• Develop audit programmes, testing procedures, and sampling approaches.
• Coordinate audit fieldwork and manage audit timelines and deliverables.
• Assess effectiveness of operational and safety-critical controls.
• Document findings, root causes, and recommendations clearly.
• Prepare audit reports and present findings to management.
• Track and validate implementation of agreed audit actions.
• Escalate high-risk operational or engineering issues promptly.

Experience Requirements

7–10 years of experience in airline engineering, operations, or aviation audit or assurance roles.

Qualifications & Certifications

Degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent. Professional audit certification (CIA, CFE, or CISA) mandatory.
