Audit Officer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Audit Officer to join our Finance team and support the organization in maintaining strong internal controls, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency. In this role, you will conduct financial, operational, and compliance audits to ensure adherence to company policies, international standards, and best practices. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in auditing and risk assessment, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate findings clearly and constructively. This position supports U.S.-based operations, requiring collaboration with cross-functional teams across time zones.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct financial, operational, and compliance audits in accordance with the approved annual audit plan.
• Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, policies, and standard operating procedures, and recommend improvements.
• Review financial statements, reports, and accounting systems to identify discrepancies, irregularities, or non-compliance issues.
• Prepare comprehensive audit reports outlining findings, risks, and actionable recommendations for management.
• Monitor and follow up on the implementation of audit recommendations and corrective actions.
• Assist in developing and enhancing risk-based audit programs and internal audit methodologies.
• Stay updated on applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards to ensure continued compliance.
• Collaborate with finance, operations, and compliance teams to strengthen control systems and promote efficiency across processes.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Auditing, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in auditing, internal controls, or risk management.
• Strong understanding of audit methodologies, financial reporting standards, and compliance frameworks.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas) is required.
• Experience with audit tools or ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics AX will be an advantage.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effectively presenting audit findings.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Strong time management and organizational abilities to meet audit deadlines.
• Willingness to work night shifts (8:00 PM – 5:00 AM) to support U.S.-based operations.
