Authority Approval Engineer - Fit Out

· project coordination with a strong focus on authority approvals, fit-out execution, and project closeout across the UAE construction and interior fit-out sector.

· Specialised in securing approvals and managing coordination with major UAE authorities, including:

· Dubai Municipality (DM)

· Dubai Civil Defense (DCD)

· Dubai Development Authority (DDA)

· DIFC (Dubai International Financial Centre))

· Trakhees • Abu Dhabi Municipality • Concordia

· Sharjah Municipality

· Nakheel

· Strong experience in liaising between consultants, contractors, landlords, and authorities to ensure smooth project execution and compliance at every stage.

· Skilled in technical review of design submissions to ensure alignment with authority regulations, project specifications, and UAE codes.

· Hands-on experience in managing landlord and tenant closeout processes, including final inspections, snag clearance, documentation, and completion certificates.

· Proficient in preparation, review, and submission of Operation & Maintenance (O&M) manuals and final project handover documentation.

· Proven ability to coordinate and attend final inspections with authorities and landlords, ensuring timely approvals and successful project completion.

· Strong capability in handling multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.

· Coordinating the recovery of security deposits upon successful project completion and compliance clearance.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• 3–8 years of experience in authority approvals, permitting, or regulatory coordination.
• Strong knowledge of local authority regulations and approval processes.
• Experience dealing with municipalities, utility providers, and planning departments.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple submissions and deadlines.
• Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of AutoCAD or similar tools is an advantage.

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
