The candidate will be responsible for reviewing and auditing observations made by inspectors, identifying gaps in documentation, and implementing corrective measures. Excellent communication skills are essential for engaging effectively with the public and stakeholders, while a strong command of computer technology, including smart devices, is necessary for using the designated systems efficiently. Maintaining confidentiality and professionalism is paramount when dealing with sensitive information related to facilities and their owners.

Job Requirements:

• A Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of one year of relevant experience in civil engineering or municipal inspections.
• Comprehensive knowledge of municipal regulations and requirements governing construction and excavation.
• Proven experience in conducting field inspections, specifically related to excavation monitoring.
• Strong analytical skills to review and audit inspectors' observations critically.
• Effective communication skills to interact with the public and stakeholders professionally.
• Proficiency in using computer systems and smart devices for reporting and compliance.
• Ability to identify discrepancies and initiate corrective actions promptly.
• Experience in maintaining confidentiality when handling sensitive information regarding facilities and their owners.
• Skilled in adhering to established protocols for documenting violations and cancellations.
• Capacity to complete assigned tasks within the designated system accurately and efficiently before the end of each workday.

Job Responsibilities:

• Review and audit inspectors’ observations to ensure compliance with municipal regulations and standards.
• Identify and document additional observations that are not previously noted by inspectors.
• Take necessary actions based on findings from audits and inspections.
• Forward closure and seizure cases to the Field Support Unit as per protocol when applicable.
• Maintain confidentiality concerning sensitive information related to construction facilities and their owners.
• Demonstrate professionalism in all communications and interactions with the public and stakeholders.
• Adhere to standardized reasons for canceling violations and ensure accurate documentation.
• Complete assigned tasks in the designated system efficiently, ensuring all information is logged before the end of the workday.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance inspection procedures and compliance strategies.
• Stay current with updates to municipal regulations and adjust inspection strategies accordingly.
