Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicle surfaces by sanding, masking, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality
• Apply paint using spray guns with precision and attention to detail
• Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, and filler application before painting
• Conduct buffing and polishing to achieve a smooth, glossy finish that meets quality standards
• Ensure proper handling and disposal of paints, solvents, and other hazardous materials in compliance with safety regulations
• Collaborate with technicians on auto glass replacement, welding, and other repair processes to deliver comprehensive vehicle restoration

Skills

• Proven dealership or auto body shop experience as an auto body painter
• Strong knowledge of auto body repair techniques, painting methods, and detailing procedures
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, paint spraying equipment, and buffing machines
• Experience with computerized paint mixing systems to ensure perfect color match
• Experience with paint tinting and matching

Requirements

• At least 5 years experience
• Must have valid references
• Must provide your own spray gun and tools

Salary is dependent on experience, references, and quality of work. We are seeking someone with strong work ethic, prompt timing, good communication, and willingness to work in a fast paced environment.
