Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicle surfaces by sanding, masking, and cleaning to ensure optimal paint adhesion
• Apply primer, base coats, clear coats, and specialty finishes using airless paint spraying equipment and hand tools
• Use buffing machines and polishing compounds to achieve smooth, glossy finishes on painted surfaces
• Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, panel alignment, and minor welding to restore vehicle integrity
• Conduct detailing tasks such as cleaning, polishing, and finishing touches to enhance overall vehicle appearance
• Assist with auto glass installation or replacement as needed during the repair process
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols for handling paints and chemicals

Requirements

• Proven experience in auto body painting or dealership auto repair environments is highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of auto painting techniques including airless spray systems and buffing methods
• Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance, auto restoration, and general auto body repair
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment is a plus
• Ability to lift heavy parts safely and perform physical tasks involved in auto body work and heavy lifting activities
• Experience with auto glass replacement or installation is advantageous
• Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude toward client interactions
• Basic understanding of vehicle mechanics and auto repair processes to support comprehensive restorations
• Experience Painting Watercraft / Jet skis is another plus but not required
