Auto Electrician

Location: Faizabad, Rawalpindi
Department: Maintenance / Workshop
Salary Range: PKR 40,000 – 50,000 per month

Job Summary:

The Auto Electrician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and components in buses and other company vehicles. This includes wiring, lighting, alternators, batteries, ignition systems, and electronic controls to ensure all vehicles operate safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical wiring, components, and systems in vehicles.
• Maintain and install lighting, indicators, batteries, starter motors, alternators, and ignition systems.
• Test and replace faulty components using multimeters and diagnostic tools.
• Handle vehicle ECU (Electronic Control Unit) scanning and troubleshooting.
• Ensure all electrical systems meet company safety standards.
• Keep maintenance records and report all work performed to the supervisor.
• Coordinate with mechanics and technicians for combined repair tasks.
• Perform preventive maintenance checks to avoid breakdowns.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety within the workshop area.

Requirements:

• Education: Diploma or Certificate in Auto Electrical / Auto Mechanic or relevant field.
• Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of experience as an Auto Electrician (bus/truck experience preferred).
• Skills:
• Strong knowledge of vehicle electrical systems
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and schematics
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Familiar with modern diagnostic tools and scanners
