Responsibilities

• Diagnose electrical faults in vehicles using specialized testing equipment and mechanical knowledge
• Repair or replace faulty wiring, sensors, switches, and electronic components with precision
• Perform vehicle maintenance tasks including battery checks, lighting repairs, and electronic system updates
• Utilize hand tools and power tools to disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicle electrical systems
• Conduct auto body repairs and assist with auto restoration projects as needed
• Ensure all repairs meet safety standards and manufacturer specifications
• Assist with heavy lifting during installation or removal of large components to ensure safety and efficiency

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience in automotive repair
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment specific to auto electrical systems
• Experience in vehicle maintenance, auto service, and auto body repair techniques
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely during repair or restoration tasks
• Knowledge of automotive electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and electronic components
• Mechanic experience with a focus on electrical troubleshooting and repair processes
• Excellent attention to detail along with strong problem-solving skills to identify issues quickly
