Auto Mechanic

Job Title: Auto Mechanic Department: Workshop / Maintenance

Location: Meraj Limited Qualification: DAE (Mechanical / Automotive Technology)

Experience: 4–6 years (Heavy vehicles, fire trucks, or specialized vehicles)

Job Summary:

The Auto Mechanic will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining company and client vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards. The role requires strong technical expertise, especially in heavy-duty and specialized vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform mechanical repairs and preventive maintenance on vehicles, including engines, gearboxes, suspension, steering, and hydraulic systems.
• Diagnose faults using modern diagnostic tools and technical manuals.
• Repair or replace defective vehicle parts and ensure proper functionality after work completion.
• Support in assembly, modification, or fabrication of specialized or firefighting vehicles.
• Ensure compliance with workshop safety standards and company SOPs.
• Coordinate with electrical, body, and fabrication teams for joint repair activities.
• Keep tools and equipment in good working condition.

Skills & Competencies:

• In-depth knowledge of automotive mechanical systems (diesel and petrol).
• Hands-on experience with heavy vehicles and hydraulics.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and service manuals.
• Team player with good communication and time management skills.
• Focused on quality, safety, and efficiency.

Additional Requirements:

• Must have Experience with Heavy vehicles/ firefighting or emergency vehicles .
• Willing to work overtime or in field conditions when required.
