Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately and efficiently.
- Repair and maintain various vehicle systems including powertrain, electrical systems, suspension, brakes, and steering.
- Conduct engine repairs on both gasoline and diesel engines, ensuring optimal performance and longevity.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive repair machinery to execute repairs with precision.
- Interpret vehicle schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems.
- Perform wheel alignments and ADAS calibrations to ensure safety features function correctly after repairs.
- Assist with vehicle maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid replacements to keep vehicles in peak condition.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Experience
- Proven mechanic experience with a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance.
- Dealership experience is highly preferred for familiarity with brand-specific systems like GM vehicles or similar brands.
- Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics tools and interpreting schematics for troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of automotive electrical systems, powertrain components, and vehicle alignment procedures.
- Skilled in working with both gasoline and diesel engines; experience with diesel engine repair is a plus.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive service machinery.

Pay: $28.39 - $34.19 per hour
