AutoCAD Designer

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented AutoCAD Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate technical drawings and design layouts related to oilfield equipment, mechanical components, and fabrication works. The candidate should have strong AutoCAD knowledge and the ability to work closely with engineering and production teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and modify 2D AutoCAD drawings based on project and engineering requirements
• Develop technical drawings, layouts, and fabrication details for mechanical and oilfield-related components
• Review and revise drawings as per engineering and production feedback
• Coordinate with engineering, production, and QA/QC teams to ensure drawing accuracy
• Interpret technical specifications, dimensions, and design requirements
• Maintain proper drawing records, revisions, and documentation
• Ensure all drawings are prepared in accordance with company standards and project requirements
• Support project execution by providing updated and accurate design documentation
• Assist in preparing as-built drawings and design modifications when required

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of mandatory experience as an AutoCAD Designer
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD
• Experience in preparing technical and fabrication drawings
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and design details
• Good understanding of mechanical components, fabrication drawings, and production requirements
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in design work
• Good coordination and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, Design, or a related field
• Additional technical certifications in AutoCAD or drafting will be an advantage
