WORKSPACE invites applications for a dedicated and proactive Production Coordinator to manage the responsibilities outlined below:
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact between the Sales, Fulfillment, Logistics, and Factory teams for all production-related matters
- Prepare, review, and finalize shop drawings for furniture projects, ensuring they match client requirements and specifications.
- Coordinate with suppliers for material availability, pricing, and timely delivery.
- Review sales orders, specifications, and drawings to ensure production readiness.
- Prepare and issue Material Requisition Forms (MRFs) and follow up to ensure materials are received on time.
- Track production progress and update relevant departments with status reports.
- Identify and communicate any delays, discrepancies, or material issues to the concerned teams.
- Maintain proper documentation of production schedules, approvals, and material requests.
- Support the factory team to ensure adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
- Assist in improving coordination and communication between Sales, Production, and Suppliers for efficient workflow.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in a production coordination role, preferably in furniture, joinery, or manufacturing.
- Proficient in creating and reading shop drawings (AutoCAD or similar software preferred).
- Strong understanding of furniture production processes and material requirements.
- Excellent organizational, coordination, and communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in MS Office; ERP knowledge is an advantage.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and problem-solving mindset.
