Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified and motivated Draftsman to join our team in Ras al-Khaimah. The ideal candidate will have expertise in ELV system (CCTV, Structured Cabling, Access Control, Intercom Systems).

Key Responsibilities:

· Create detailed technical drawings, schematics, and layout plans for various ELV systems, including structured cabling, CCTV, access control (ACS), audio-visual (AV) etc..

· Utilize AutoCAD to develop and modify designs and drawings.

· Ensure all drawings adhere to project specifications, industry standards, codes, and regulations.

· Conduct site surveys to gather necessary information for design and to ensure the accuracy of plans.

· Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and cost estimates for ELV systems.

· Develop competitive technical and commercial proposals tailored to client needs.

· Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, equipment lists, and specifications.

· Implement changes and revisions to drawings based on feedback from engineers, clients, and site modifications.

· Design CCTV system layouts based on local Authority’s (GRA, SIRA etc.) specifications and site conditions.

• Liaise with project managers, sales teams, and other engineering departments to ensure accurate and feasible bids.

· Maintain organized records of all drawings, revisions, and related documentation for easy access and reference.

Requirements:

· A diploma or bachelor's degree in drafting, electrical engineering, electronics, or a related technical field is typically required.

· Expertise in AutoCAD (2D and 3D) is a must & BOQ preparation.

· Strong understanding of ELV system designs, symbols, and routing is essential. Experience with specific systems, such as CCTV, access control, structured cabling is also necessary.

· Minimum 2-4 years of experience in ELV system design, estimation and project execution
