AUTOCAD DRAFTSMAN

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled AutoCAD Draftsman with strong experience in joinery and interior fit-out works. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed technical drawings, shop drawings, and production drawings based on project specifications, site measurements, and design requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed 2D AutoCAD drawings including plans, elevations, sections, joinery details, and assembly drawings
• Develop production/shop drawings for joinery items such as cabinets, wardrobes, counters, doors, paneling, partitions, etc.
• Review design briefs, architectural drawings, and specifications
• Conduct site visits and perform accurate measurements when required
• Coordinate with project managers, designers, engineers, and site teams
• Ensure drawings comply with industry standards and production capabilities
• Modify and revise drawings according to feedback and project changes
• Maintain project drawing files and documentation
• Assist in material take-offs and quantity estimates when needed

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Civil Engineering, or related field
• at least 3–4 years of experience specifically in joinery & interior fit-out drafting
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (2D essential; 3D is an advantage)
• Knowledge of materials, joinery fabrication techniques, and interior detailing
• Good understanding of architectural and MEP drawings
• Strong attention to detail and precision
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and coordination skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SketchUp, Revit, or other drafting/design software (advantage)
• Knowledge of CNC/Machine production drawings is a plus
• Knowledge of industry standards and building codes

Salary Range

• AED 4,000 - AED 6,000 monthly (based on experience)
