AutoCAD Draftsman

Key Responsibilities

Develop detailed 2D/3D drawings for electrical systems (lighting, power), mechanical systems (piping, HVAC), and automation layouts.

Create Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), schematics, and cable routing plans.

Prepare shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and detailed Bills of Quantities/Materials (BOQ/BOM).

Coordinate drawings with other disciplines (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical) to avoid clashes.

Review and update drawings based on site feedback and project changes, ensuring accuracy.

Assist in preparing project documentation and reports.

Attend meetings with clients and consultants to explain drawing details.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Software: AutoCAD (2D/3D, Plant 3D), Revit, Navisworks, MS Office.

Technical Knowledge: Understanding of industrial automation, electrical/mechanical principles, relevant codes/standards.

Education: Diploma or ITI in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Experience: 3-5+ years of relevant experience in the UAE construction/automation sector.

Soft Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, problem-solving, teamwork, and communication.

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
