AutoCAD Draftsman

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented AutoCAD Draftsman to join our Aluminum & Glass Division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and as-built drawings for aluminum and glass works, ensuring compliance with project specifications and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and as-built drawings using AutoCAD.
• Review architectural and structural drawings to develop aluminum and glass detailing.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, site teams, and production departments.
• Prepare material take-offs and drawing revisions as required.
• Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, industry standards, and company requirements.
• Assist in project planning and technical coordination.
• Maintain drawing records and document control procedures.
• Attend project meetings when required and provide technical drafting support.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in aluminum and glass drafting in the UAE.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D).
• Knowledge of aluminum systems, curtain walls, doors, windows, skylights, and glass partitions.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.
• Immediate joiners will be preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with curtain wall and façade detailing.
• Familiarity with UAE construction standards and practices.
• Knowledge of estimation and quantity take-offs is an advantage.
