AutoCAD Draftsman (2D & 3D) with Estimation Experience

Elegant Steel International is seeking a talented AutoCAD Draftsman (2D & 3D) with Estimation Experience (ONLY IN KITCHEN FIELD) to join our technical team. The successful candidate will play a key role in creating detailed drawings and providing accurate cost estimations for stainless steel kitchen equipment and projects.

This is a dual-role position that requires both technical drafting skills and cost estimation experience in the stainless steel kitchen fabrication industry.

Responsibilities:

Prepare precise 2D and 3D AutoCAD drawings for stainless steel kitchen equipment and layouts.

Develop fabrication and installation drawings as per project requirements.

Conduct site visits for measurements and verifications when necessary.

Estimate material quantities, labor, and project costs based on drawings and specifications.

Prepare and submit detailed quotations and BOQs (Bill of Quantities) to the sales or project team.

Coordinate with the production team to ensure feasibility and accuracy of designs.

Revise drawings and estimations as per client feedback or site conditions.

Maintain organized documentation of drawings, revisions, and cost estimates.

Desired Skills & Experience

3 to 5 years of experience as a Draftsman & Estimator in the stainless steel kitchen industry is mandatory.

Strong proficiency in AutoCAD 2D & 3D; knowledge of other design software is an advantage.

Good knowledge of stainless steel fabrication standards, materials, and components.

Experience in cost estimation, quantity take-offs, and pricing.

Strong analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications.

Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or related field is preferred.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
