Job Description – Kitchen Equipment Draftsman
Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Draftsman with proven experience in commercial kitchen equipment and hospitality projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate technical drawings, shop drawings, and layouts for kitchen equipment in hotels, restaurants, cafés, and large-scale food service projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings (AutoCAD or equivalent) for kitchen layouts, equipment installation, and fabrication.
- Review project specifications and coordinate with designers, engineers, and project managers.
- Develop kitchen equipment layouts, utility drawings, MEP coordination drawings, and detailed fabrication drawings.
- Ensure compliance with international food service standards, safety regulations, and client requirements.
- Modify and update drawings based on client feedback, consultant comments, or site conditions.
- Maintain drawing records, revisions, and documentation for project handover.
- Collaborate with the production/fabrication team to ensure accuracy in shop drawings and manufacturing.
- Support sales and project teams with technical inputs when required.
