AUTOCAD Draftsman for Fitout/Joinery

You are applying for a job as a Draftsman/Draftswoman in a Joinery Fitout Company - Please read the requirements carefully.

Job Description:

Your main tasks and responsibilities are as follows (but not limiting to):

• Preparing detailed shop drawings based on concept drawings, pictures or 3Ds for production
• Preparing joinery Shop Drawings and as-built drawings for client/ consultant approval
• Checking plans, drawing and quantities for accuracy of calculations
• Developing Bill of Quantities (BOQ) when required
• Surveying sites and developing shop drawings and drafting when needed
• Prepare joinery cutting lists if required
• Coordinate with the Production Managers, Project Engineers, Designers and/or Clients for the necessary updates and changes required for shop drawings

• Ability to work well under pressure Highly flexible & adaptable
• Ability to work effectively with multicultural workforce
• Multi-tasking, self-motivated, energetic team player with a flexible and adaptable approach to work
• Must have good practical organization skills, planning of resources and scheduling
• High proficiency in AutoCad, Sketchup and MS Office - all other IT proficiencies is a plus

Education/Experience Required:

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Architecture or Interior Design and any related certifications is a plus
• At least 10 years of professional experience as a Draftsman in Interior fit-out/joinery
• Extensive knowledge of materials and technical specifications related to interior design
