AutoCAD Draftsman - Infrastructure Projects (Roads/Substations/Underground Utilities)

Roles & responsibilities

• Study CAR with ring diagrams and understand NOC drawings.
• Update drawings based on site modifications and project requirements.
• Prepare drawings related to traffic diversion and paid parking requirements.
• Prepare miscellaneous cable support drawings.
• Prepare pre-as-built marked-up drawings in coordination with Engineers.
• Prepare final as-built drawings with coordination details.
• Coordinate with external authorities such as RTA, DM, Dusup, consultants, developers, and road contractors regarding cable route drawings.
• Prepare fibre optic duct drawings.
• Coordinate daily with Engineers, Supervisors, and Foremen for work updates.
• Handle Smart Government-related drawing updates and documentation.
• Coordinate with pre-survey and GIS teams for drawing updates.
• Verify backfilling detail drawings.
• Perform miscellaneous and urgent tasks assigned by the Engineer/Manager.

Desired candidate profile

• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and technical drafting.
• Experience in cable route and fibre optic drawings.
• Understanding of NOC and utility coordination drawings.
• Good coordination and communication skills.
• Ability to work under deadlines and manage urgent tasks.
• Familiarity with UAE authority standards and procedures is preferred Certification in CADD / AutoCAD

Education
Degree (preferred) / Diploma in Engineering

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in technical drafting and cable route drawings.
• Should have experience in HV / LV equipment related / Cable Laying works.
• Underground utilities, infrastructure works, etc.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to AED5,000.00 per month
