Job Title: AutoCAD Draftsman - Interiors

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Drawings: Prepare detailed AutoCAD drawings for interior design projects, including layout plans, furniture arrangements, electrical and lighting plans, wall elevations, and material specifications.
• Collaboration: Work closely with interior designers, architects, and engineers to understand project requirements and develop accurate technical drawings and plans.
• Design Modification: Modify existing drawings based on client feedback or changes to the design concept, ensuring the drawings are updated and consistent.
• Code Compliance: Ensure that all drawings adhere to building codes, industry standards, and regulations.
• Documentation: Maintain organized and up-to-date project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and project notes.
• Material Specification: Assist in the selection and detailing of materials, finishes, and products within the AutoCAD drawings.
• Site Visits: Occasionally assist with site visits to collect measurements and ensure designs are executed as planned.
• Quality Control: Review and check designs and drawings for accuracy, completeness, and quality, ensuring alignment with client requirements.

Qualifications:

• Education: Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in interior design drafting or a similar role.
• Software Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD is a must; familiarity with other design software like SketchUp, Revit, or 3ds Max is a plus.
• Knowledge: Solid understanding of interior design principles, building codes, and construction techniques.
• Attention to Detail: Strong ability to interpret design concepts and produce accurate technical drawings.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with team members, clients, and contractors.
• Time Management: Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while managing multiple projects.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to resolve design and drafting challenges.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
