Intel is seeking a skilled and driven Automated Material Handling (AMHS) Engineer to join our team, where you will play a vital role in improving Intel's advanced packaging technology development and high-volume manufacturing. In this position you will be responsible for Automated Material Handling System development from early definition through factory deployment and sustaining the capability. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and industry partners to develop cutting-edge solutions, to enable Intel to lead into novel advanced packaging technologies.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Modify and optimize existing equipment to enable processing for new products.
  • Develop and implement solutions for process integration and equipment challenges to enable seamless manufacturing.
  • Conduct feasibility studies through theoretical simulations and practical engineering methods to correctly size new system deployments.
  • Partner with equipment and material suppliers to enable automated material handling for new manufacturing capabilities.


The candidate should exhibit the following traits:

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate as part of a team to address complex challenges.
  • Effective communication skills to present technical insights to stakeholders and drive alignment on objectives.

Qualifications:

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Experience would be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes, and current level school classes, projects, research, and relevant previous job and/or internship experience.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or higher degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering or related field
  • 1+ years of experience reviewing and understanding mechanical and electrical drawings
  • Fluent with Microsoft Excel, and other MS Office products (PowerPoint, Word, Project, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:

2+ years of experience with the following:

  • Automation systems (including AMHS).
  • Robotics development
  • Semiconductor manufacturing

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $99,030.00-188,890.00 USD

The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
