Automation Analyst, QA Automation

Job Purpose

We are seeking a skilled QA Analyst with 3+ years of experience in software testing and automation. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of test automation frameworks, scripting languages, and software testing methodologies. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure the quality and reliability of web applications.

Responsibilities

• Test and support applications in global software platforms such as ServiceNow, Salesforce, SharePoint and various other corporate systems
• Monitor daily automated regression
• Maintain and update automation suite.
• Develop automation framework for new software platforms
• Collaborate with other internal groups to capture functional requirements
• Communicate with internal customers in non-technical terms, understand business requirements, and propose solutions
• Participate in meetings
• Train and support users on new functionality being released
• Document changes and author documentation on software functionality

Knowledge and Experience

• 3+ years of experience in software testing, test automation, and QA methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver for web application automation.
• Strong understanding of Git, JIRA, and Bitbucket.
• Proficiency in writing XPath expressions for test automation.
• Experience with Keyword-Driven Frameworks and test automation strategies.
• Knowledge of Robot Framework and Python (or any other programming language) is a plus.
• Familiarity with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and software development best practices.
• Experience in API automation testing.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Jenkins.
• Understanding of database testing and SQL queries.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
