Automation Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IaC Automation Senior Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of scalable infrastructure solutions across multi-cloud environments. This role is pivotal in driving automation, enhancing deployment efficiency, and ensuring infrastructure reliability and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using tools such as Terraform, Pulumi, or AWS CloudFormation
• Automate provisioning, configuration, and deployment of infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP
• Develop and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar
• Collaborate with DevOps, Cloud, and Security teams to ensure infrastructure aligns with performance, security, and compliance standards
• Create and maintain reusable IaC modules and templates to promote consistency and scalability
• Monitor infrastructure performance and cost, and implement optimizations where necessary
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and promote best practices for IaC workflows
• Mentor junior engineers and actively contribute to team knowledge sharing and technical growth

Qualifications

• Proven experience in IaC and cloud automation in enterprise environments
• Strong proficiency with one or more IaC tools: Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP infrastructure
• Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts and pipeline development
• Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills
• Ability to lead initiatives and mentor team members

Preferred Skills

• Certifications in AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Experience with container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes)
• Exposure to security and compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC2, ISO 27001)
