PCS7 Engineer with ELICS Systems Expertise
Location : Ras Laffan & Other customer Site

Working Hours & Days: 10 hours,6 days a week

Qualifications And Skills:
-
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field.
-
Minimum 5 years’ experience in Siemens DCS and SCADA design, programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting.

Hands on experience in PCS7 Safety Systems
-
Good client facing skills, must be able to work as part of combined client/contractor team.
-
In depth knowledge of Water and Wastewater process, Petrochemical processes, and Oil & Gas processes
-
Willingness to travel and work away when required
-
Qatar driving license
Desirable Skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Specific experience with ELICS Systems required:
-
Hands-on PCS7 based project experience (Siemens Power Control Library preferred).

Experience in Electrical/Automation Cabinet Hardware Engineering & Commissioning
-
Substation automation control systems.
Ø EPDCS – Emergency Power Distribution Control Systems.
Ø PMS - Power Management Systems.
Ø GMS - Generator Management Systems.
Ø LSS/LSC Load Sharing, Load Shedding & Load Management Systems.

Documentation (IO Lists, FDS, FAT procedure, SAT procedure, Logic Flowchart, Control Philosophy, O&M manuals)
-
Hands-on expertise in third party integration protocols such as Modbus (serial), Modbus (TCP), IEC-61850, OPC)
-
Knowledge of functional block development and customization in PCS7
-
Conducting internal testing, FAT and SAT.

Minimum experience 5+ Years – with PCS 7 preferred Oil & Gas Systems
-
Ability to develop PCS7 and PLC programs based on reading schematics and interpreting customer specifications
-
Ability to troubleshoot control loops and motor wiring
-
Network architecture design and Industrial instrumentation selection, configuration, commissioning, and troubleshooting
Job Responsibilities

PCS7, WinCC and STEP 7 programming of control systems
-
Fire & Gas systems and Emergency Shutdown Systems design and programming.

Involvement throughout whole software/systems lifecycle, from design through coding to testing,
-
installation and configuration, and documentation
-
Installation and configuration/testing work at customer sites
