Provide expert-level remote support for Combibloc filling machines including CFA, CBA, and NEO series, ensuring minimal downtime for customer operations.

About the Role

Troubleshoot and resolve automation issues on Siemens S7-400/1500 PLCs, Siemens HMI panels, and NEO HMI interfaces through remote connections.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain remote access infrastructure including VPN gateways, secure connections, and remote monitoring tools for 24/7 customer support.
• Support Combibloc equipment, providing cross-platform expertise for customers transitioning between or operating both systems.
• Lead remote commissioning and startup support for new filling line installations, working with on-site teams through video calls and remote access.
• Implement and support Plant 360 Controller systems including Connector, Performer, and Governor modules for plant-wide monitoring and control.
• Configure OPC-UA servers and clients for machine connectivity, data collection, and integration with customer MES/ERP systems.
• Provide remote PLC programming support including ladder logic modifications, parameter adjustments, and control logic optimization.
• Diagnose and resolve servo drive issues remotely, particularly WITTENSTEIN servo systems used in machines for high-speed operations.
• Support aseptic process control including CIP/SIP sequences, sterilization parameters, and product changeover procedures.
• Participate in automation projects for system upgrades, retrofits, and new feature implementations across the customer base.
• Maintain detailed service logs, incident reports, and knowledge base documentation for common issues and solutions.
• Provide remote training to customer operators and maintenance teams on equipment operation and basic troubleshooting.
• Coordinate with global support teams and leverage manufacturer expertise for complex technical issues.

Qualifications

Technical Requirements:

• Automation Platforms: Siemens S7-400/1500 PLCs (mandatory expertise)
• Siemens TIA Portal programming
• Siemens WinCC and touch HMI panels
• Rockwell ControlLogix/CompactLogix (supporting knowledge)
