• Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and Develop Automated Tests: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to verify software functionality, performance, and scalability.

2. Test Planning and Strategy: Collaborate with product managers, developers, and quality assurance teams to develop comprehensive test plans, strategies, and test cases.

3. Test Execution: Execute automated test scripts, analyse test results, and report defects to ensure software quality meets defined standards.

4. Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable frequent and reliable software releases.

5. Tool Evaluation and Implementation: Evaluate test automation tools and technologies and implement best practices to improve efficiency and effectiveness of automated testing processes.

6. Code Review and Maintenance: Conduct code reviews of automated test scripts to ensure adherence to coding standards and maintainability.

7. Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for automated test scripts, frameworks, metrics, and processes.

8. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams across multiple locations and time zones to identify testing requirements, communicate test results, and drive resolution of issues.

Requirements:

1. Detailed understanding of Equity Derivative products including both Listed and OTC Equity Derivatives

2. Minimum of 8-10 years' practical experience in test automation development

3. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.

4. Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.

5. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java Script, Type Script, UI Path.

6. Experience with test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Data-Driven, BDD, hybrid framework or similar.

7. Experience in test automation of RESTFul Services (Inc. Swagger), SOAP Services, web user interfaces.

8. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.

9. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

10. Strong communication and collaboration skills.

11. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment.

12. Attention to detail and good time management and organizational skills.

13. Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB Certified Tester, Certified Selenium Tester) are a plus.
