Email & QA Sr Associate is responsible for the accuracy of final assets and troubleshoots any issues that may need to be addressed in the QA process. They are also the specialists on email campaign set up, building and testing the campaign workflows pre-deployment. They are an instrumental part of the production process and the team relies on their experience in HTML and attention to detail to ensure the final product is ready for deployment.

Position Responsibilities:
Validate email campaign setup & Test Planning

Analyze project requirements and design documentation to think through and document all possible test scenarios.

Testing Email Templates/Layouts based on the requirements and executing test cases.

Performing functional, UI, Device, Integration, System, Performance, Usability, workflow, HTML, and data testing.

Analyze device usage trends to strategically update the testing scope of Litmus and other physical devices to match latest user behavior.
Defect Management & Resolution
-
Executing test iterations, clearly documenting bugs, and coordinating directly with the development team to guarantee all issues are resolved (Full Bug Life Cycle management).

Coordinates with all stakeholders to troubleshoot and identify root causes of any errors or quality concerns.
Conduct pre-deployment QA

QA validate rendering across physical devices, browsers, email clients.

Perform Regression testing on fixed and ad-hoc requests of development on both coded templates and ad-hoc assets.
Generating prototypes and proofs for review by CSM/PMM

They are also responsible for sending proofs and prototypes to CSM for review, which they might pass on to the marketer.
QA rendering of localization variants

Execute Localization Testing across email templates and modules once translation files have been received, validating correct rendering in all language variants.
Responsible for creating and maintaining a top-notch Email QA Process

Regularly reviewing and updating QA checklists and relevant documents to ensure they encompass changes in business requirements.

Proactively look for areas of improvement and process optimizations to enhance the overall quality process.

Support Ops PM in creating the post-mortems after failures in the QA processes lead to user-facing errors.

Support production lead to create and share the final data points after Retesting And Regression Testing.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
-
2+ years experience in marketing automation tools.
-
3+ years of Testing, HTML, and/or CSS experience.
-
Advanced proficiency in Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Defect/Bug Life Cycle management.

Experience with multiple testing types including Manual, Integration, System, Regression, Performance, and Compatibility testing.

Intermediate proficiency in Design tools (Figma, Sketch, PSD) for validating UI against visual requirements.

Experience working with Agile Methodology.
