Automation Engineer Intern

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and enhance internal tools using Retool, Airtable, n8n, Strapi, and Firebase,
• Automate workflows and processes using Python and Node.js, with exposure to AWS Lambda and other serverless solutions,
• Collaborate with the backend team to integrate and optimize internal systems,
• Document and share learnings through "how-to" guides, and test/improve tools based on team feedback,
• Research and prototype new automation frameworks, exploring emerging technologies.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently graduated in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field,
• No prior professional experience required: personal, academic, internship, open-source projects, or other job experience all count, while prior industry experience is a plus,
• Familiarity with Python or Node.js, and exposure to internal tool platforms such as Retool, Airtable, n8n, Strapi. Experience with Next.js or backend frameworks like Python FastAPI is a plus,
• Experience with AWS Lambda and cloud based automation is a plus but not required,
• Strong problem-solving mindset, effective communication, curiosity, and comfort asking questions,
• Fluency in English, both verbal and written,
• Ability to work on-site for five days during the summer break, and at least three days during the academic year,
