Automation Engineer – Intern

Key Responsibilities

• Support development and implementation of energy automation and smart metering systems
• Assist in PLC programming, SCADA configuration, and HMI development for energy applications
• Work on data acquisition from smart meters, sensors, and energy monitoring devices
• Assist in integration of IoT-based energy management systems (EMS)
• Support troubleshooting of field automation and communication systems (Modbus, TCP/IP, RS485)
• Help in testing and commissioning of energy automation projects
• Prepare technical documentation, reports, and system performance data
• Coordinate with engineering team for utility and energy efficiency solutions

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to energy monitoring systems / smart meters / AMR-AMI systems Understanding of Energy Management Systems (EMS) Awareness of IoT platforms used in energy automation Basic programming knowledge (Python / C / Ladder Logic)

Requirements : Bachelor's Degree or related disciplines. Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 1 year of experience are welcome to apply.
