Automation & Lighting Designer

Job Summary

We, Sunrise Oasis Lighting LLC are looking for a skilled Automation & Lighting Designer with experience in the lighting industry. The candidate will be responsible for designing, programming, and implementing lighting automation systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop lighting automation systems as per project requirements.
• Prepare lighting layouts, control schematics, and automation drawings.
• Configure and program lighting control systems (DALI, KNX, DMX, smart lighting systems, etc.).
• Coordinate with sales, production, and site teams for smooth project execution.
• Conduct site visits for installation support, testing, and commissioning.
• Troubleshoot automation and lighting control issues.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
• Prepare technical documentation, BOQs, and as-built drawings.
• Provide technical support to clients and internal teams.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in lighting automation or smart lighting systems.
• Strong knowledge of lighting control protocols (DALI, KNX, DMX, etc.).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Dialux, or other lighting design software.
• Good understanding of lighting fixtures and drivers.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Technical / Production Knowledge (Added Advantage)

• Experience in façade lighting or architectural lighting projects.
• Knowledge of IoT-based lighting systems.
• Experience in UAE/GCC lighting projects.
• Basic knowledge or coordination experience with:

CNC Router designing and operation
Bending machine operations (metal fabrication)
Welding processes related to lighting fixture fabrication
