Electrical & Automation Maintenance Engineer

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical and automation issues in Special Purpose Machines (SPMs).
• Diagnose and resolve faults in PLC-based machines (Delta & Siemens).
• Perform basic analysis of machine errors to identify the root cause.
• Handle breakdown maintenance for CNC VMCs and CNC Lathes.
• Read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams, PLC ladder logic, and machine manuals.
• Inspect, test, and replace sensors, actuators, relays, drives, and control components.
• Ensure minimal machine downtime through quick and accurate fault isolation.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Experience with PLC troubleshooting (Delta, Siemens etc).
• Familiarity with CNC controller fault codes and diagnostics.
• Ability to work on control panels, wiring, and low-voltage systems.
• Basic understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Comfort using multimeters, continuity testers, and other diagnostic tools.
• Ability to coordinate with machine vendors or service engineers when required.

Future/Additional Responsibility

• Programming, setup, and maintenance of collaborative robots (cobots).

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in industrial machine maintenance preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
