This Position reports to:

Digital Solutions Center Manager

Your Role: Own the Challenge

• Studying customer requirements for RTU and SCADA based on the specs and conducted meetings. & Prepare the system architecture and Bill of materials accordingly
• Programming and commissioning of RTU/SCADA and relays communication settings based on different communication protocols. And perform all the activities related to assigned Projects including preparation of drawings, BOM, schematics and automation drawings.
• You should work in cooperation with engineering manager, project management and planning in order to evenly load the factory production line, job holder shall be in control and knowledge of the Orders running in hand and he is responsible to clear all the related difficulties and comments related to his assigned tasks to release the order for manufacturing.
• You should cautiously monitor the department Key performance indicators such as FPY and OPQ, continuous monitoring and analysis are of the main responsibilities of the job holder. Refining the criteria of measurements is also key parameter of performance. Also, improving customer experience is also a key parameter of the job holder, he is part of the team collecting and resolving the customer complaints by ABB official tool which is CCRP.
• You will be subjected to perform techno-commercial studies for selected offers.

What it takes to Run what runs the world

• You should have relatively good technical general knowledge, knowledge about ABB rules and regulations, ISO 9001 requirements, good knowledge of IEC and relevant standards is a must and has proven experience in automation systems include SCADA ,RTUs, PLCs , communication networks , Protection relays with related tools applications ….
• The minimum academic requirement is bachelor’s degree in electrical Power, communication, or control
• 3-4 years of experience as automation engineer
• Fluency in both spoken & written English & Arabic language is required. French is an advantage
• good knowledge and experience in electrical and automation systems with good knowledge about design processes, training about SAP, customer satisfaction, communication skills, presentation skills, ISO 9001 requirements, Company mission and vision and policies with good knowledge about related software applications (AutoCAD and Eplan).
• RTU and Substation SCADA systems experience is a must. Knowledge in Microsoft office, communication skills, ability to work under pressure, ability to work in teams, self motivation, respond positively to challenges.
