Position Summary: Automation Technician
Location: Hampton, NH
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Automation Technician is responsible for sustaining the operation of automated assembly machines in a safe and efficient manner. In addition to maintaining the automated assembly machines, this role also includes visual inspection, rework, and packing of finished product, as well as providing overall support functions applicable to production. This is an entry level position for an individual with a technical/mechanical background from school or on the job experience. We will train the right candidate to enhance their skills and experience.
Responsibilities:
POSITION TYPE:
This is a full-time hourly position, 40 hours per week, with potential overtime as required. The expected work schedule is 10 hours per day. Monday-Thursday. This job operates in a manufacturing lab setting and requires employees to have excellent vision and hand eye coordination while working under a microscope. While performing this job, employees will frequently handle chemicals, be exposed to loud noise and work with moving mechanical parts. All employees must be capable of lifting up to 25 lbs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma, or equivalent
1-2 years applicable industry experience
Basic knowledge and understanding of mechanical assemblies. Basic familiarity with engineering drawings and prints.
General ability to use Microsoft office programs
Ability to use lab equipment, such as; microscopes, micrometers, electrical testers, and precision hand tools
Excellent vision and hand eye coordination
