About this Role

We are seeking an experienced Automation Test Engineer to lead the design, development, and execution of automated testing for a microservice-based Camunda application. The role demands a proactive and detail-oriented individual with strong programming skills in Java, hands-on experience with Cucumber or similar BDD tools, and a deep understanding of agile methodologies. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery through robust test automation integrated into CI/CD pipelines.

What you will do

• Design and implement automation frameworks tailored to project architecture.
• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test cases using Cucumber and other relevant tools.
• Collaborate with product owners, designers, and developers to clarify requirements and ensure test coverage.
• Manage defect tracking, regression testing, and version control of test artefacts.
• Troubleshoot issues, coordinate bug fixes, and document testing outcomes effectively.

Who you are

• A graduate in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Possess 4+ years of experience in test automation, with strong proficiency in Java.
• Skilled in microservice-based architectures and messaging technologies.
• Experienced in integrating test automation within CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiar with AWS cloud services and BPM testing.
• Adept at working in agile environments, preferably with exposure to SAFE Agile/Scrum.
• Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Prior experience in the telecom industry is desirable.
