Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Automobile Electrician to join our workshop team. The candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical and electronic systems in vehicles. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in automotive electrical work and the ability to troubleshoot faults independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electrical faults in light, commercial, and fleet vehicles.
• Inspect, repair, and replace wiring, fuses, relays, switches, sensors, alternators, starters, batteries, and lighting systems.
• Diagnose faults using automotive diagnostic tools and electrical testing equipment.
• Repair and maintain vehicle air-conditioning electrical systems, charging systems, ignition systems, and starting systems.
• Install, repair, and troubleshoot vehicle accessories such as GPS devices, reverse cameras, sensors, audio systems, and tracking devices.
• Read and interpret vehicle wiring diagrams and electrical schematics.
• Carry out preventive maintenance checks on vehicle electrical systems.
• Support breakdown and emergency repair requirements when needed.
• Ensure all electrical repairs are completed safely and according to company standards.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and work completed.
• Coordinate with supervisors, mechanics, and the parts team for timely completion of jobs.
• Follow workshop safety procedures and maintain a clean working area.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Automobile Electrician.
• GCC experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of automotive electrical and electronic systems.
• Experience with diagnostic scanners, multimeters, and electrical testing tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical faults independently.
• Experience working on light vehicles, commercial vehicles, and fleet vehicles is an advantage.
• Knowledge of vehicle AC electrical systems is preferred.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical manuals.
• Basic English communication skills preferred.
• Technical certification or diploma in automobile electrical systems is an advantage.
• Valid GCC driving license is an added advantage.

Pay: QAR1,650.00 - QAR2,500.00 per month
