Automotive After-Sales / Mechanical Technician

About the Role:

Meraj Limited, a leading manufacturer of specialized vehicles , is looking for a skilled After-Sales / Specialized Vehicle Technician. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, rectifying, and repairing mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic faults in specialized vehicles while supporting after-sales service operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, rectify, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic faults in specialized vehicles and equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
• Coordinate with the workshop, parts department, and technical teams for seamless service operations.
• Provide after-sales support by addressing customer issues and ensuring prompt resolution.
• Prepare service estimates, job cards, and maintenance reports.
• Maintain proper documentation and service logs for all repairs performed.
• Support warranty-related work and ensure adherence to company standards.

Requirements:

• Education: DAE (Mechanical/Automotive) or B.Tech (Mechanical/Automotive).
• Experience: Must have strong hands-on experience in mechanical repairs, electrical troubleshooting, and pneumatic systems.
• Knowledge of specialized vehicles, firefighting vehicles, or industrial equipment is an added advantage.
• Ability to diagnose complex faults using tools and technical manuals.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-focused approach.
• Proficient in MS Office and basic reporting.
