Automotive Contracts Clerk

The CB Automotive Group, comprised of Mercedes-Benz of SLO, CB Chevrolet and Sunset Honda, is seeking an Automotive Contracts Clerk. In this position, you will handle a variety of administrative tasks related to vehicle documentation and sales contracts. Job responsibilities include:

• Processing Contracts: Handle new and used car contracts, including posting the car deal in accounting, auditing to make sure we have the correct paperwork. Audit trade-in documents and payoff vehicles. Process unwinds.
• Organizing Paperwork: Ensure all paperwork for each deal is organized, accurate, and complete.
• Maintaining Records: Keep or organize detailed sales contract files.
• Reconciling Schedules: Reconcile CIT schedules, etc.
• Sales Tax: Assist with tracking sales tax.
• Providing Business Office Support: Offer support to management and other areas of the business office as needed.
• DMV Processing: Basic knowledge of DMV is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
