Job Summary
We are seeking a customer-focused Automotive/Marine Service Advisor to act as the primary point of contact between customers and the workshop. The ideal candidate will be responsible for understanding customer concerns, coordinating with technicians, preparing service estimates, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction throughout the service process.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers and understand boats service or repair requirements
- Create and manage job cards with accurate customer complaints and boat details
- Provide clear explanations of recommended services and repairs
- Prepare service estimates and obtain customer approvals
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely and accurate repairs
- Update customers on service progress and delays
- Handle customer complaints professionally and escalate when necessary
- Ensure warranty policies and procedures are followed correctly
- Prepare invoices and ensure proper documentation upon job completion
- Maintain service history and records in the system
Requirements & Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Automotive / Mechanical Engineering (preferred)
- Minimum 2–5 years experience as a Service Advisor in an automotive/marine service center
- Strong knowledge of automotive/marine repair and maintenance processes
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to explain technical issues in a simple manner
- Experience with workshop management systems or ERP software
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Valid UAE driving license is an advantage
- Arabic speaking is an advantage
