Automotive Mechanic

Location: Joplin, MO
Schedule: Full-time
Compensation: Competitive pay based on experience

We’re looking for an Automotive Mechanic who actually knows what they’re doing, someone reliable, detail oriented, and able to diagnose without guessing. If you want a stable shop and steady workflow this is the place.

What You’ll Do

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues accurately
• Perform repairs on engines, brakes, suspension, AC systems, and general drivability issues
• Recondition vehicles for resale (safety checks, basic mechanical fixes, cosmetic improvements when needed)
• Complete general maintenance: oil changes, tires, filters, batteries, etc.
• Communicate clearly with the team on what each vehicle needs
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace
• Keep repair notes and parts used logged in our system

What We’re Looking For

• Strong mechanical experience (dealership or independent shop- either is fine)
• Ability to work independently without babysitting
• Solid diagnostic skills.
• Reliability and consistency
• Someone who takes pride in their work and doesn’t cut corners
• Valid driver’s license

Nice to Have

• Experience working with older, high mileage, or BHPH type inventory
• Basic understanding of recon timelines
• Ability to prioritize vehicles with sales urgency
