Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced tools to identify issues accurately.
• Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, and powertrain components.
• Execute oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, shocks & struts replacements, and wheel balancing to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
• Repair and replace auto body parts, welding components as needed to restore vehicle integrity.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently for repairs while adhering to safety standards.
• Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex automotive electrical and mechanical problems.
• Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process.

Requirements

• Proven mechanic experience with dealership or independent repair shop backgrounds preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems including diesel engines, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), air brakes, and GM vehicles is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in automotive diagnostics and electrical systems troubleshooting.
• Experience working with schematics, powertrain components, transmissions, and suspension systems.
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and auto estimating software effectively.
• Knowledge of automotive repair standards including brake repair, wheel alignment, oil change procedures, and auto body repair techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail; ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
