Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify vehicle issues accurately.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, steering, and electrical components.
- Repair or replace critical components such as shocks & struts, air brakes, powertrain parts, and perform wheel alignments to ensure optimal vehicle handling.
- Execute routine maintenance tasks including oil changes, tire service, wheel balancing, and vehicle inspections to uphold safety standards.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently for tasks like welding, auto body repair, and component replacements.
- Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex automotive electrical systems and diesel engines.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring vehicles meet quality standards before returning to customers.
Requirements
- Proven mechanic experience with dealership or independent shops preferred; familiarity with GM vehicles is a plus.
- Strong mechanical knowledge across automotive systems including powertrain, transmission, suspension, brakes, and electrical systems.
- Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics tools and schematics for precise troubleshooting.
- Ability to perform diesel engine repairs and work with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) technology.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive repair machinery safely and effectively.
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures such as oil changes, tire service, alignments, shocks & struts replacement.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to repairs and maintenance tasks.

Pay: $18.00 - $35.00 per hour
